allan peters birth announcement

I stumbled on Allan Peters’ blog while doing some research for a class project and was very impressed.  Some super clean and crispy work from the Minneapolis-basded Senior Art Director. I especially liked the letterpress birth announcement he designed for his son, Matthew. See more of his work at his portfolio website.

Be really really nice

Fifty and Fifty

25 Feb

Tenn by Matt Lehman

The Fifty and Fifty project: Some really nice 2-color design and prints by 50 different designers, one for each state. I wonder if they’ll be selling these as screen prints? I’ll have to contact the creator, Dan Cassaro, a designer and animator living and working in Brooklyn, New York.

LetterMpress iPad app

24 Feb

A very neat iPad app that’s in development called LetterMpress. I hope they won’t  have a problem meeting their $15k goal.  The price of an iPad + this app is much nicer, not to mention not nearly as messy, than paying for a used Heidelberg Windmill on ebay for $4000+.

Chris Keegan's Blue Green Series

Really nice screen printing/hand-drawn illustration with pen and ink by illustrator Chris Keegan. He’s going to customize one print daily and sell the one-off prints/illustrations from his Etsy shop.
